Wow, it’s been so long since I updated my blog. What’s new? It’s all the same intro I’ve been saying for the last blog posts since I always post year after year. (OA! LOL) Since my photographer is back in town, I took advantage of using him. USER!! I have been wanting this Korean-ish minimalist look. In fact, I tried it last year but it was just so hard to maintain. I went back to school and I tried to be minimal on the first day and the guards thought I was a Professor of that school. Funny, yeah? LOL.
Well, I took advantage of this Professor looking on the first few weeks of the school. I got the benefit of what a real Professor is getting from the school like “first to get inside the elevator”. Falling in line, I mean falling in a LONG LINE is such a hassle and we all know that. But thanks to my Professor looking outfit and maybe also to my face looking old to be tagged as Professor, thanks to you “my face”, you saved me from those buzzer beater crucial times. Yikes!
I have been following this page on Facebook (MINIMAL.ME) which gives their followers a guide on how to achieve this Korean Minimalist outfit. So if you want an inspiration or looking forward to shift to be a minimalist, better like their page and check out their daily uploads.
I chose this look because it is neat and it is easy to wear. It’s like when you want to rush for a meeting or casually meeting a friend, you could pull these clothes from your wardrobe and tadaaa, you look awesome! Wait, do I look awesome here? LOL. You could also try to play with your shirt. If you want a bit formal looking, smart looking, it’s always better to tuck your shirt in. But please make sure you are wearing a fitted trouser so it looks, a bit classic yet classy. Yas! Then if you want just a casual malling outfit, then go for untucked shirt.
I cannot really go out without a handy bag with me. So I chose this “Aviation Axe, Less Effort More Style tote bag, by David Guison“. It perfectly matches my minimalist navy-white-stripes shirt. Well, when in doubt, always go for black. Or white actually, it works sometimes.
This look of mine as well can also be worn at school, well only if your school allows ‘civilian’ everyday protocol. Well, my school right now, no. Hopefully soon they’ll allow it, or I’ll transfer to another school. (Weh!) So I cannot unleash what’s inside #stylewithjeront. Naks!
This minimalism is not for everyone. Some can pull it off easily but some cannot. For me, I still find it hard to maintain it. Maybe because I haven’t really shifted wholly to this style. But I am trying as much as possible. We’ll see. Right now, I love Navy Blue, Gray, Black, and White. ALL PLAIN or STRIPES.
Love you all.
